Bud and Trip

This painting was created as a memorial for Trip, my grandparents’ dachshund who had recently passed away. I was honored to be asked to capture his memory in a meaningful way.

The composition features Trip alongside their other dog Bud, peacefully resting in the open fields behind my grandparents' home. The wide blue sky stretches above, gently overcasting the familiar  chicken houses in the background, a nod to the setting they loved.
