This piece was inspired by my significant other and served as a space to explore the concepts of portrait, design, and mixed media. Unlike many of my other works, there was no pre-planning involved, this piece was developed entirely in the moment.

I allowed intuition to guide the process, experimenting with a variety of materials including oil paint, oil pastels, gamsol, and textured surfaces. The result is a layered, expressive portrait that captures both emotion and spontaneity.
