I'm a graphic design student at Mississippi Christian University with a passion for creating creative visuals for local businesses in my community. Before discovering graphic design, I played and experimented in traditional media, including acrylic and oil painting, drawing, and printmaking. Since graduating from Pelahatchie High School in 2023 and Hinds Community College in 2024, I've expanded my skills in branding, print design, typography, illustration, motion graphics, and more, always seeking new ways to grow as a designer.

My background has shaped the way I approach creativity and problem-solving. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs taught me the value of hard work, communication, and meaningful relationships. Outside of design, I was heavily involved in FFA and 4-H, where I showed Red Angus cattle and developed a strong work ethic through agriculture. I'm also passionate about fitness and have been coaching CrossFit since 2022 after earning my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer credential. I've always known I needed a creative outlet. In 2022, I launched MW Designs, where I specialized in custom commissions. What began as a small art business has since evolved into MadeByMaddie, a small business focused on graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling. 

Whether I'm developing a brand identity, illustrating a concept, or creating a print piece, I strive to design work that is both purposeful and memorable. I enjoy collaborating with others, tackling new creative challenges, and continuing to learn as I grow in both my career and my craft.
