A local mini-league baseball team needed a brand identity that represented Mississippi while appealing to a younger audience with a sleek, modern, and athletic aesthetic. I created a geometric mallard icon inspired by the state's official duck, giving the logo a connection to Mississippi. To complement the mark, I designed a custom sans-serif wordmark featuring subtly swooshed serifs that evoke the shape of a duck's tail feathers, adding movement and a sporty feel to the overall identity.
