This university project challenged me to create an expressive poster using only typography. At the time, I was heavily inspired by hard rock music, so I decided to create a three-part series featuring lyrics from some of my favorite rock bands. I wanted each piece to capture not only the words themselves but also the energy and emotion behind how they would be sung.
 

To bring this idea to life, I used a gold foil medium that I was familiar with and applied it to black cardstock, creating a bold visual contrast that reflected the dramatic nature of the music. Through scale, composition, and typographic treatment, I designed each section of lyrics to convey its own rhythm and intensity. This project allowed me to explore typography as a powerful form of expression, communicating mood, movement, and sound without the use of imagery.
