Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with this small-town church on multiple projects, including creating a completely original Vacation Bible School experience.
 

With many surrounding churches offering similar VBS programs, children often arrived already familiar with activities and lessons from attending other events. To create a more unique and engaging experience, the church developed their own concept and curriculum and brought me in to transform their written ideas into a cohesive visual identity.
 

Over the course of eight months, I designed and illustrated the full VBS experience, including the main logo, character set, name tags, signage, posters, and banners across both large- and small-scale applications. Working alongside a team of ten, we completed all design and production materials more than a month ahead of launch to allow time to send to a third party printing facility and for the team to install the set up.
 

The final result was a fully customized and immersive VBS that achieved the church’s goal of delivering a fresh and unexpected experience for the children.
